Oreo Cookie

Hello I thought I would share a behavioral strategy I learned a while ago. It helps diffuse, redirect, and/or distract. It is called the oreo cookie:
1. Cookie - Give an opening compliment
2. Center - Give instruction or critique
3. Cookie - Give a closing compliment
The cookie may be a double stuffed oreo:
1. opening compliment
2. instruction or critique
3. another related instruction or critique
4. closing compliment
Will this work the first time? Probably not. However persistence pays off in great dividends. If you use the method, let us know how it worked.
